Delete your data
Last updated 21 September 2026
If you have sent messages to a shop's Facebook Page that uses the ShopPilot Messenger assistant, you can ask us to delete the information we hold about you. This covers your messages, the replies, your Messenger identifier for that Page, and your name as Facebook gave it to us.
How to ask
- Email shoppilot009@gmail.com with the words delete my data, and the name of the Page you wrote to.
- Tell us the name shown on your Facebook account so we can find your conversation. Do not send a password or an identity document.
- We will confirm when it is done, within 30 days.
What happens
- Your conversation and the identifiers linked to it are removed from our database. If you had sent "stop", a bare marker without your name stays so that you are not messaged again.
- Even without a request, conversations are removed automatically 3 months after their last message (see the privacy policy).
- Orders you placed with the shop are part of the shop's business records, so the shop may need to keep those for accounting or the law. We remove what we can link to your messages.
- Copies held by Meta on Facebook are under Meta's control. You can manage them in your Facebook and Messenger settings.
Removing the app's access in Facebook
You can also stop the assistant from messaging you: send stop in the chat. To remove business integrations from your account, open Facebook, then Settings, then Business Integrations, and remove the app.
More about what we keep and why: privacy policy.
